We couldn’t be more excited right now! Our new album “Robot” is ready! 

Featuring all new songs, this is a stand-alone album for primary school-age children and their families. Our previous releases, the Excellent Songs for Children trilogy have been so popular, we know you are going to love the new songs. 

This album by Al Start, has 13 tracks and is packed with our trademark great musicianship, proper production and innovative style of songwriting for a young audience without a hint of patronisation. It passes the "Great for Grown-ups Test" with flying colours! Perfect for the car, at home or loaded onto your music player - there's a song for every member of your family!

What’s on the album? 

Songs titles include, Higher and Higher, Amazon Riversong, The Victorian Way, Long Way Home, Grandad’s Pants and the title track Robot – to name just a few. Our live audience will be glad to know Al’s sing-along classic, Banana Milkshake has also made its way onto the track listing! 

Our album has a slight eco/climate change theme as our children are looking at the future of our planet – this is the topic of our title track Robot. We’re also covering topics close to families’ hearts such as going to the playground, the joys of a long bus ride home, sticking together through thick or thin and being kind to each other. 

We’re learning about the Amazon River, what it was like to be a Victorian child working in a grand manor house and asking why-oh-why do Grandads have such big pants?
